Every memory I have of this man is a happy one. Every time I saw him he was happy and loved to have his family around. I have enjoyed the last couple of years where we get together as a family at Golden Corral for lunch just for his birthday, something fun to look forward to. I hope you rest in peace Grandpa and are enjoying the time with your family that passed before you did.
With each passing comes memories of those that have gone before. This has made me miss my grandpa more. How I long for that growl behind the door or his great big hugs. I normally have a hard time around this time of year anyways just because it is close to the time that we lost him, but I have to remind myself he is happy and would want all of us to be happy.
