Nationals for bowling this year was in Louisiana. I was excited and ready to go as I had never been there before. It was great fun, and I learned the true meaning of down pour as it is completely different there compared to Utah. Our first stop was New Orleans. When we landed we picked up our rental car and headed to Popeye's for lunch. Of course while we were eating with no signs at all it started pouring!
Our second day we headed to Mississippi to spend the day. We ate some yummy food, visited the beach and just enjoyed ourselves.
Once we drove back from Mississippi it was time to visit Bourbon St. I'm glad I got to experience it once but I don't know it is something I will ever do again.
The next day we moved on to our 2nd destination, Baton Rouge. We went on a swamp tour and bowled our tournament here.
By the end of the trip I was ready to go home and see my boys. I can't wait to go back to Louisiana and see many more things and explore everywhere I can there.
