Truck Pulls at the State Fair

Our favorite time of year!!!  September is when the birthdays in our family start coming around, school is starting, holiday season is right around the corner, and it is state fair time!  This is the only fair we have been able to make it to each year for about the last 3 years.  We love watching the truck pulls and if we get lucky we can see the animals the same day (all depends on what is happening on a Saturday morning).  This year we had soccer games but they were done by 1:00 so off we headed to Salt Lake.  We were early enough we walked around to the animals then headed over to the truck pulls.  Once they started bringing in all of the Dodge working class we decided it was time to get dinner and head home.  Come to find out afterwards that was a mistake because the 18 wheelers Adam wanted to see pull did end up pulling last.  Well lesson learned for us, next year we will stay until the very end.
