Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! For the first time in probably about 20 years we spent part of the day with my grandparents. Of course I had to work Christmas eve and I had a little adventure getting to work. Since I work just down from Adam's grandpa I normally take the train and then Adam & the boys pick me up & we go see Grandpa Cookie. I went to buy my ticket and the card reader wasn't working so I tried cash and that wasn't working either. Needless to say I had to have Adam come back to the train station & pick me up, just like he said though plan a never works for us! Since I drove to work Adam & the boys caught the train in Clearfield & I picked them up this year. We visited grandpa until he started to doze off, made quick stops at home & my parents then headed over to Adam's parents for the reading of Christs birth. After spending the morning at home we made our usual rounds to see family. We started at my parents house with everyone, I enjoy this time as I don't feel like we get to enjoy each others company very often. After lunch and exchanging gifts we went to the Baker Christmas party which was at my in-laws this year so that saved us quite a bit of driving time since we didn't have to go to Grantsville or Salt Lake.  Here comes the picture overload:

This year the boys decided to help me decorate the tree so I let them do it all by themselves.

I love Aiden's face in this picture, he was so excited to be receiving The Hobit.

I thought I was doing good and found a great deal on tablets for the boys and thought we would never get them away from the boys but boy was I wrong.  Valentines gave them dominos and for the first week that is all they played wit.

Aiden just wanted to sleep on his sleeping bag and didn't want to open any other gifts.

 Avery being a goofball.
We gave Buddy a box of treats and once he saw them he would just go push them down with his nose and then stare at them.
